Short Film Crew Positions

Responsible for administrative taskes associated with production of short films.  Responsible for communication between the short film crew and staff and between the crew and outside organizations and vendors.  Vitally ensures the short film successfully remains on schedule, task and budget.

Responsible for capturing the intended creative vision and style for all short films. Responsible for determination of how to frame shots, exactly where to place actors to produce the best filming footage for the short films. Lighting coordination experineces is a must!

Special skill/role: 1st Camera or Camera Operator experience if needed. 

Responsible for primary camera operation of all short films produced.   Responsible for setting marks, image position & quality.  Must posses valid technical skillet & experience. 

Responsible for setup and management of set lighting for short films.  Setup and safely powered equipment using the film industry highest safety standards & regulations. Responsible for primarily assisting the Director of Photography (DP).  Assist DP with lighting filters and special equipment for scene production.

Responsible for role as the 'muscle' on short film set.  Perform hard physical work with the assembly of stage gear, lighting and sound equipment.  Responsible for properly using all film equipment with proper care, moving film crew equipment, tripods, dollies and other items to and from various locations.  Must have ability to drive and state driving license.

Responsible for producing pristine sound quality, expertise and management of all things 'sound' for short films.  Responsible for capturing all sound recordings, management of sound data files, storage and secure backup and retain for short films. 

Responsible for 'all-things-between' tasks across & within every single area of the short film set, crew and talent.  Need to have 'high-energy' stamina and dexterity in this 'jack-of-all-trades' centered production role.  Perform manually tasks, errands, coffee-runs, calls, coordination and direction of on-set talent and crew.

Responsible for acquiring, managing & providing all costumes, garments and main clothing, accessories for all short film signed acting cast members/talent.  

Responsible for hair styling of all signed acting cast members/talent.  Must be able to wash, style, condition and maintain talents 'look' throughout film shooting days and across the entire project for continuity purposes.  Must provide all equipment tools and products for talent haircare.
